Super Speed

Our superpower for the week is super speed!

Subject needs to gradually reach speeds of 500 mph every time she runs and needs to slow down when she wants to stop running. Subject will need to eat 10,000 calories a day to give her enough energy to use her speed and subject’s body can handle the food consumption because of her hypermetabolism. Subjects running is not only accelerated faster than everyone else’s but her bodily functions are sped up as well like her thoughts, healing, digestive system, reactions, etc. When subject takes someone or something with her, she can go the necessary speed that’s fast enough to get them both where they need to go but slow enough not to injury or kill the companion, the same applies to objects and small animals. In order to allow the passenger to breathe, the subject takes frequent stops when transporting a regular human. Subjects aging process would be one second slower than a normal person since time is effected by speed. Subject’s brain works faster than a normal person because she has enough neural synapses to accelerate her brain activity to be as fast as her entire anatomy. Subject has bones, joints, tissue and a lean muscular frame that are designed to withstand the constant use of her ability far better than a normal person.
